Youth Ministries calls for passion, patience, and faithfulness – pointing out the sacred in the midst of the chaos of adolescence and walking faithfully with young people as they transition from child to young adult. Youth Ministries is a bridging ministry of education, connection, formation, and hopefully, transformation.
God wants you to thrive so you can lead a positive life in a negative world. But to flourish in all areas of your life, you have to want to be successful. You must desire more for every area of your life—especially spiritually. And that involves a willingness to obey God’s plan and principles.
We engage therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, and discipline.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:36-38)
At New Hope MBC we envision our church effectively sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to build strong families for the 21st century.
We envision empowering our community to improve their quality of life by becoming knowledgeable of the infallible Word of God. We envision welcoming numerous members into our body who are excited about Christ, experience healing in their family relationships and marriages, and grow together in love. We envision developing our members, youth as well as adults to become fully functioning followers of Christ. We envision building larger facilities that will accommodate our growth and are accessible to all residence of our community. These facilities will provide daycare, schools, senior care, recreation, receptions & meetings, as well as a safe harbor for our youth.
We envision training and developing ministry teams for the work of Ministry, as well as planting churches in strategic locations to reach the un-churched and build the body of Christ.
Finally, we envision our church operating in the spirit of Excellence, while maintaining the highest of standards in our activities, auxiliaries, ministries, and in our private & public lifestyle.
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
We engage therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, and discipline. And doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
